Contura International A/S has finalized arrangements with Valeo Aesthetics, Inc. to market and distribute the Aquamid® aesthetics product portfolio in Canada
Contura International is proud to announce Valeo Aesthetics as the exclusive distribution partner for Aquamid® in Canada.
Aquamid is a versatile and durable injectable volumizer with safety and efficacy documented in numerous clinical trials, including a major US trial with two-year follow-up. During its 10 years of usage on markets around the world, Aquamid has proven to effectively address the increasing demand for long-lasting, volumizing solutions to rejuvenate and sculpt patients’ facial features.

Aquamid is currently undergoing the approval process with Health Canada. There will be a pre-launch meeting with Aquamid at Cosmetic Update, Feb 24-27, 2011 in Cancun, Mexico.

The Aquamid range of safe injectable sub-dermal hydrogels delivers reliable long-lasting replacement of lost skeletal support, for the correction of lines and wrinkles and for augmentation and sculpting of facial features.
Aquamid and Aquamid Reconstruction are based on Contura’s proprietary hydrogel, composed of 97.5% water and 2.5% patented cross-linked polyacrylamide.
